Jessica Farley is a second year MPH student in the Department of Global Health. Climate change and environmental health are two of her interest areas, and she chose the public health program at University of Washington in part for the opportunity to work with CHanGE Director Kristie Ebi.

For her practicum project, she collaborated with Kris to conduct a review of Sri Lankan government policies on climate change and health, to inform the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office on preparedness for climate change adaptation in the health sector. She also spent one quarter in Sri Lanka as an intern with the WHO Sri Lanka Country Office to conduct her thesis research on flood preparedness in public hospitals and clinics in Eastern Province, Sri Lanka.
