Chris Boyer is a second year MPH student in the Department of Global Health. He has a diverse public health background including service in the Peace Corps (Zambia) and an internship at the CDC in Atlanta.

Chris contacted CHanGE Director Kristie Ebi in response to an opportunity that was circulated to work with the WHO in Lao PDR as an Environmental Health Intern (October 2016-2017). His duties included:

- Providing technical support in developing the full proposal on building resilience of health systems to climate change for the Global Environment Facility.

- Designing the logical framework, monitoring and evaluation plan, and gender-mainstreaming plan for the project in close consultation with key government stakeholders.
